We've often heard that we must cherish the moments
instead of worrying about the future.
" Today is a gift that's why it's called the present."
"Treat today like if there's no tomorrow."
Regardless of the phrase,
they each share the same message.
Cherish Each Day
Like many other things in life,
it's much much easier said than done.
We just get way too caught up in wordly matters,
that we forget to enjoy the journey.
If it's not work, it's school work.
If it's not school work, it's household chores.
I've had some first hand experience on this recently.
These past few days I've been so busy
worrying about my own duties and responsibilities,
that I've failed to recognize the what was going on around me.
and in all honesty, I feel absolutely terrible.
It's truly something I need to work on.
Just because I have things to do doesn't mean
I can't enjoy the moments I have while I'm doing them.
On another note,
Why can't we view the world like little children do?
Reason why I'm bring this up is because
my little cousin Izabela looks at me as if I am
THE
best person in the world.
And I've caught myself saying I'm not.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought this.
But why????
I mean we've all made mistakes in life,
Should they really destroy our self esteem?
OF COURSE NOT!
If anything, they make us stronger.
They've sure as heck made me stronger.
Knowing that I've overcome an obstacle in life
makes me want to give myself a big fat ribbon of accomplishment!!!
I mean, Each little trial I've ever had in life has given me the opportunity to
grow and strengthen as a person and a daughter of God.
There will be days when the adversary or someone we know
will tell us were not good enough.
not pretty enough
not qualified enough
not smart enough
not talented enough
Or maybe just not strong enough.
Criticism will be everywhere.
Whether it's at work, school,
or even on the streets.
What matters most is
How we choose to take such criticism
depends on US.
No one else.
We all have potential for greatness.
Doubting it, would make the world right.

"You can be excellent in every way.
You can be first class.
There is no need for you to be a scrub.
Respect yourself.
Do not feel sorry for yourself.
Do not dwell on unkind things others may say about you.
Polish and refine whatever talents the Lord has given you.
Go forward in life with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face,
but with great and strong purpose in your heart.
Love life and look for its opportunities."
Wiser counsel could not have been given.
oh and
30 days left until Idaho. I cannot wait !
